dickau@clt.DEC (Martin Dickau) (01/13/86)
I regularly send mail from DEC's E-net through ihnp4 (direct connection decwrl-ihnp4) to an AT&T site (in New Jersey) two hops from ihnp4. I have never had any problems -- mail seems to take half an hour to an hour for the one-way trip in either direction. Only once have I seen anything strange done by ihnp4, and that was when it rerouted a message to me through amcad (or something like that), which I found strange, since ihnp4 and decwrl talk to each other. This rerouting happened a few months ago. I think ihnp4 and anyone taking care of it is doing a good job. If it's not fast enough, pick another path.
