*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MASSAGE *** Why would I want the HDB uucp system? Just a reasonably clean version or does it offer many other niceities? Break any old stuff? How can I get a copy? I too would be interested in receiving HDB but I never knew who to contact. To be honest, I'm not even SURE that HDB is public domain. Is their an established procedure for obtaining old postings? While I'm here I'll also cast my vote for a net.sources.d becase that's where this really belongs. Sorry for the trouble.

Well, Peter Honeyman can answer this one, I presume. > How can I get a copy? See above. > To be honest, I'm not even SURE that HDB is public domain. I'm absolutely 100% sure it isn't. It's an AT&T product and is chock full of licensed code. Not every piece of software mentioned on USENET is public domain... -- Guy Harris {ihnp4, decvax, seismo, decwrl, ...}!sun!guy guy@sun.arpa (yes, really)

HoneyDanber isn't in the public domain. Contact your local AT&T IS sales- person. I am sure they would be very happy to accept your money. It is amazing to me someone has'nt already followed up on the request floating around the net. -- =========================================================================== Signed by: Rod Hart (WA3MEZ) Minicomputer Technical Support District Chesapeake & Potomac Tel. Is their an established procedure for obtaining old postings? I am pretty sure that HDB is NOT public domain and does cost a bit of $$. Unfortunately, we don't have a net.sources archive, although a mod.sources archive does exist. -- Stuart Freedman (preferred) -> Work: mcnc!rti-sel!dg_rtp!freedman Data General Corp.(Mail Stop E-219) Home: put my name in Subject: and Westboro, MA 01580 +1(617)870-9659 send to uri@media-lab.mit.edu
