I'm looking for a replacement for our rmail program that understands Internet addressing. I currently have a 3b2 with completely standard System V.2.0.4, with HoneyDanber uucp and an rmail that chokes on "@". I know that in the past several mail programs of various sorts have been posted. Do any of these fit the bill? Most of all, have any plain System V sites managed to implement Internet addressing? Another issue is the mail reading program for users. I think that mailx can handle reading Internet mail, but the documentation is very vague and obviously AT&T didn't intend that anyone would ever use it. Best of all would probably be an rmail that could handle internet addresses, but could either write to the /usr/mail mailboxes with the System V format, or could call another program to deliver mail to local mailboxes. -- James R.
