For the past several months we have been getting hit with occasional cache parity faults. Recently the pace picked up and we called in DECservice. They replaced the cache data board yesterday at 4pm. The number of faults immediately increased. Today they came back and replaced the translation buffer board; the fault rate appears to have increased again. Perhaps we will make it through the night until tomorrow, when they will (shudder) come back again and replace yet another board. Then again, perhaps we won't. If you depend on ittvax to forward mail or news, keep your fingers crossed. - Alan S. Watt
