Tonight at midnight, the Arpanet is switching over to TCP only mode. CCA, like many Arpanet hosts, does not have its TCP code working completely yet. As a result, we will not be able to talk to SRI-UNIX (as well as the rest of the Arpanet) after midnight. I hope to get our TCP code working early next week. However, at the end of next week, CCA is moving its corporate headquarters. Due to a massive snafu by the phone company, the Arpanet lines will not be ready at our new location, and may not be installed until sometime in March. Therefore, we may not be talking to SRI-UNIX for quite a while.
