Utcsstat has been ill recently. The memory bus seems very sick, and as I speak DEC is still running diagnostics that fail after replacing the memory contoller and the cache. For a while there we were going up and down in roller-coaster mode always crashing spectacularily with "panic: parity". Murphy decreed that the 70 crash as I was writing out my mailbox. BOOM. Truncated Mailbox. If you sent me mail that arrived either late August 3 or August 4th, it has been lost. Earlier mail I could recover from backups. Laura Creighton utzoo!utcsstat!laura utzoo!laura
