The bay area site proper seems to have become perpetually down. As far as
I can tell nsc hasn't been able to connect with it in about two weeks and
has only connected about 4 times in the last month. I have returned all
mail sitting in my uucp directories waiting for proper to the people who
have sent it and I'm going to remove proper from my L.sys until it looks
like it is stable again. If the people at proper see this, I'd appreciate
it if they contact me about the problems I've been having talking to them.
Until further notice, the following can be considered true for nsc:
