Please note that the link between amd and ucbvax will be broken at
the end of 1984 (in four weeks). People using this connection
should make other arrangements.
This also signals a change in policy for the "amd" machine. We are
now trying to get out of the uucp business. You may be further encouraged
to know that "amd" is being moved early next year and should be down for at
least a couple of weeks at that time.
No replacements are being announced at this time. However people who
know me can probably guess that proposals and plans are being made.
