Seismo seems to have bitten the dust-- uucp has been failing for the last
few days. I ran uucp with debugging on to see what was going on and the
login message said 'UUCP not available due to disk crash' so whatever
happend was rather catestrophic. I suggest that people try to route around
the system until it returns from the dead, whenever that may be.

We're back on the air now. A succession of power hits finally crashed the disk containing /usr/spool. Luckily, we had an epoch dump as of 0400 4 March and the disk died at 1000, so little mail was lost. Raleigh
