First: A big sorry to the people at daisy.UUCP, euclid.SOMETHING at UCL,
gonzo.UUCP and dan at DigiGraphic who kindly changed the name of his
machine. Our problematic hosts have now gone into hiding, and
        will not return.

This is the current UUCP connectivity for Warwick University:

ukc (University of Kent at Canterbury)

We get news from ukc and send it to rlvd. We archive some groups,
        including net.sources.

        warwick

After an embarrassing series of name clashes, we have hidden our
local hosts behind the name warwick. Mail to warwick!people
will be aliased to the appropriate local machine. The only
names that should appear in the maps are warwick and flame.
Mail to warwick!local-machine!person will be handled if it
        gets as far as warwick.

Mail is handled as if we were a V7 site.

Getting Physical:
We have an X.25 connection to JANET, several incoming phone-lines
at various speeds and one outgoing 300/300 auto-dialler. We run
UKUUCP. The JANET address to use for incoming uucp calls is 52090000,
however outgoing calls will come from several addresses. A backup
route is available for X.25 callers should the york-box fail. However,
for most routes to warwick, UKUUCP is essential.
The X.25 connections only operate for incoming terminal sessions and
outgoing uucp calls. They won't support ftp or jnt mail for some time.
