A phone number and UUCP login were advertised for one-way messages directly to AT&T's customer support group. I put it in my L.sys file and it seemed to work. Since I like to be sure that all of my connections are healthy, I poll them every month or so. I haven't been able to get through for a couple of months now -- the phone doesn't answer. Is there a problem with this site? Does it still exist? Has the direct login policy been discontinued? Why did AT&T advertise the connection if they weren't going to support it? -- -- Greg Noel, NCR Rancho Bernardo Greg@ncr-sd.UUCP or Greg@nosc.ARPA
