Site "cornell:" has lost or will shortly loose its phone lines. The old "256" numbers will no longer work, and indeed, as some sites have probably noticed, have not been working reliably for uucp for the past 2 weeks. The new phone lines are not ready yet; Hopefully we will have the new lines in place within a month, but things are so chaotic now, what with remodeling, a number of hardware and software upgrades, and a campus-wide phone switchover, its hard to say with any certainty. Once we have reliable phone lines, we hope to re-establish most of our current phone contacts. MEANWHILE... You can reach people at "cornell" through our machine "bullwinkle".
