An FP interpreter is in the works, and is expected to be
completed by the end of 1982 (FP is Functional Programming,
as defined by J. Backus in 1977).  The interpreter works both
interactively and non-interactively.  It is highly portable
and should "make" on any standard BTL UNIX machine (from 4.0 on).
It will be availble for BTL internal distribution by early January (1983);
distribution to other locations will require BTL management permission.
This is a non-official product, offered by its author.  It may be
offered through "exptools" in the future.  Please send inquiries to:
