[net.lang] Optimization Bibliography?

Somewhere recently I've seen a bibliography of optimization techniques
for compilers.  I think it was in one of my ACM publications, but I've
just been through most of them, and I can't find it.  Can anybody tell
me where it is, or give me a pointer to anything equivalent?  I need
to collect various techniques that might be included in a production
compiler.

Please MAIL the information to me; this is too narrow a request to
impose upon the rest of the world.
