The University of Arizona Computer Science Department distributes Icon.
We distribute both C and Ratfor implementations of Icon; the C
implementation is version 5 of the language, the Ratfor implementation
is version 2 of the language. Version 2 systems are available for a
number of machines; version 5 systems are available for VAX and PDP-11
UNIX systems, and also ONYX C8002 systems. For distribution information
about a particular system, please contact us at one of the addresses
given below. All systems which we distribute are entirely in the public
domain and all source code is included. Furthermore, we are interested
in seeing version 5 of Icon on a wide variety of machines and will
provide any assistance we can to anyone wishing to port Icon to a new
processor.
