For those of you wondering about the availability of CLU, I'd suggest that you read either net.unix or net.unix-wizards. There is an article in those groups explaining how one gets CLU for 4.2 (it also exists for 4.1). The latter two (4.1c & 4.2) differ only slightly from the Liskov et. al. book published by Springer-Verlag; a couple of pages come with the system describing the differences. Most are either extensions or changes to the I/O system. I assume this also applies to the 4.1 version, but I haven't seen it. <mike
