Does anyone know anything about how I might obtain a copy of
the KRC interpreter described by David A. Turner in his various
papers? KRC is an applicative zero assignment language, supporting
lazy evaluation, recursion, and many other nifty features using
Combinators, and described in Software Practice and Experience,
1979, Vol. 9. KRC is derived from another language also created by
Turner, SASL.
The papers mention that these languages were developed on UNIX
systems, but I've not seen mention of them on the net, and direct
inquiries to Turner produced no results. (I wrote him at his address
in England, but I heard he was somewhere in the US last year.)
