TITLE FORTRAN Forum

TIME Monday, August 13, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

PLACE Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado 80523
          Clark Building, Room A210

ABSTRACT The committee, X3J3, responsible for the development of
revisions to the FORTRAN Standard, X3.9-1978, is nearing
completion of the technical work on proposals. An
information bulletin summarizing the current status of
FORTRAN 8X has been released for public comment. This
bulletin is NOT the draft standard.

Interaction between users and members of X3J3 is important
in ensuring that a consensus standard is achieved. The
presentations emphasize the array processing features and
          data abstraction.
