I am an undergraduate student working here at the National Library of Medicine. I brought a copy of SCHEME 84 with me from Indiana University, and have been asked to give a presentation of its capabilities. It is tail-recursive, statically scoped, and incorporates the concept of engines, and thus is very good for demonstrating object-oriented programming, data streams, and delayed evaluation. But I don't know where to start in presenting these ideas to C programmers. Any suggestions would be appreciated; I am having trouble contacting my professors this summer. Thanks, Tim Davis tim@nlm-vax (ARPA)
