I am doing a paper regarding object-oriented programming. I have, of course, the Smalltalk-80 series (or those that I care to wade through) and information regarding the use of "Flavors" under LISP. I understand Apple at one point hacked a version of Lisa Pascal to make it support methods, behavior inheiritance, message passing/reception etc. I have thus far been unable to uncover any references to this in the literature (I may not be very dilligent). Any information regarding publications (title and source) on this would be most appreciated. Also, if anyone is aware of any comparable attempt to hack a conventional programming language into an object-oriented one, please let me know. -- Joel West CACI, Inc. - Federal 3344 N.
