Has anyone out there had any experience in using the CONLAN (CONsensus LANguage) hardware description language ? If you are working, or have worked, or even have an interest in CONLAN please contact me directly. CONLAN is actually both a language and a langauge development methodology. It was developed by a multinational committee and has been documented in the CONLAN Report (Piloty et. al, Springer-Verlag 1983). What little applications work that I am aware of seems to have occured in Darmstadt and the University of Wisconsin. I am currently trying to determine whether it will be useful in the development of descriptive and simulation tools for special purpose signal processing architectures. I have a set of software support tools from Darmstadt running but have had some problems in their usage. I would appreciate any input in these areas.
