Since all of you numismatists out there are too shy to post articles, I thought I'd post a totally irrelevant one. I recently started collecting little sponges from computer tapes and different colors of write rings. The little sponges come in three basic types: black, dense sponges; blue, porous sponges; and gray, porous sponges that are slightly larger than the other two. If anyone has some unwanted little sponges in Fine-Very Fine condition, I would like them (my address is at the end of this article). So far, I have 7 different colors of write rings. The most common ones are yellow and black. In addition, I have some red, light blue, and white, and a few dark blue and orange. I would really like to get some green rings. Has anyone ever seen a green write ring? I would be willing to trade large numbers of other colors for green ones. The latest fad in my school is hanging write rings on one's nose. One girl balanced a write ring for 20 min. while going about her normal activities. Has anyone out there in netland balanced one for longer (without letting it touch your chin)? Reply to me (not the net) and I won't summarize results to the net because I doubt anyone would want to read it.
