THere are two relatively cheap services available that I know of: Dow Jones News Service Compuserve - MicroQuote service These are cheap only during non-prime time hours--6:00pm to 1:00am local time. You pay for connect time--around $5.00 per hour, plus .05 to .15 per quote. The easiest way to subscribe is to go down to your local Radio Shack, and buy their Universal Sign Up kit for these two data base services; it will cost you 19.95 for two booklets, and some telephone numbers. You call them up, they give you instructions, and telephone numbers, and passwords. This beats subscribing by contacting Compuserve or Dow Jones directly; it was 50.00 each the last time I checked. Also you get 1 hour of free time each through the Radio Shack deal. There are no public domain (read free) data base services that I know of. Mike Mihalik
