I would like to invite comment on STOCK/OPTIONS/FUTURES quote retrival via sub-carrier FM signal. This method seems to be an inexpensive alternative to a dedicated phone data line and the satellite-type systems. A firm called RADIO EXCHANGE is supposedly offering all of the above plus news on a 10-minute delay for only $25/month. All you need is a computer with a RS-232. Comments here would be appreciated. You would by the receiver (whick looked just like a ti calculator) for around $300. then you subscibe to their service for around $200 a year. it allows you to receive 15min delayed and also allows you to program certain stocks into the unit to constantly monitor so that you would always have the latest for those stocks... it also would display news alerts for those stocks.. -- David Mutterer [vax135|ihnp4]!timeinc!dave "Any opinions expressed herein are those of the writer and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of Time Incorporated."
