Has anyone heard anything (good or bad) about a company called "Investia"? They deal w/diamond commodities, and claim (w/some accounts) a fixed return of up to 14.5%. I don't know anything about them except the literature they sent me. (If anyone wants info, call 1 800 821 3951, or w/in CA 213 273 2900 or 415 896 5965).

I was involved with a Diamond Commodity company a few years ago. They gave
options to hold your own diamonds, or they can keep them in a "safe" place
for you. I opted to keep them. Some people I know let the company hold their
investment, and the company went defunct several months later. They lost
$14,000. At least I have my diamonds. The bottom line is: don't trust anyone
to keep YOUR jewels. If you keep them, you really don't have anything to
worry about, except being able to sell them later if the company goes broke.
