Just last night on the Philly CBS affiliate they gave a short list of banks that not only have low interest rates on credit cards but also banks that offer free Mastercard/VISA with less than 15% interest on the card. Being half-asleep, the only one I remember is InterFirst Bank of Dallas, TX (and only that because a friend used to work there). --hal stern princeton university ihnp4!princeton!flakey!stern

Since my bank recently began charging a fee, could anyone give me the address of a bank anywhere in these United States that doesn't? /* End of text from uiucuxc:net.invest */ Two places I know of are the Mechantile Bank of St. Louis, Missouri, And the University of Illinois Credit Union in Champaign, IL. If I remember correctly, this bank starts charging interests the moment you
use your credit card, so you end up paying some kind of fee even if you
pay your balance every month.
