[net.sport.hockey] Stanley Cup predictions

I, for one, would not count the Islanders out of any Stanley Cup race, as
some of the other net people do.  The Islanders' recent 9-2 win over
the Flyers was quite impressive, and I don't doubt that they could reproduce
it in the playoffs.  The only thing wrong with the Islanders is a
lack of motivation; on paper, they're as good as any team in the league
and the motivational problem should disappear come playoff time, as it
has in the past.  Also, I wouldn't put it past the Rangers to upset
the Flyers in the preliminary round.  

My prediction is that the Islanders will face Boston for the Wales 
Conference championship, and the winner of that series will win the Cup,
probably defeating Chicago.
