I do agree that Dennis Savard is one of the best offensive hockey players in the league right now. Yet going to school up here in Minnesota, I saw the Blackhawk-North Star game last January, and the person from the North Stars to watch in the future is one Neal Broten. (sp?) The people up here are wild about a certain Dino Cicerrelli (again sp?), but I don't really think he's all that good. I think even I could score when I've been set up with shots like he gets from Broten. It's usually Broten that gets the assist on that line, and that's because he's the kind of player that will give up a shot on goal that has a 50% chance of scoring for a shot that has nearly 100% of scoring. The only drawback I see is that he's just not physically big enough to put up with all the roughness that Savard or Gretsky can. Blackhawks are on their way to the Cup!
