This isn't an answer, because of the *current* stipulation, but
Guy Charron played 734 games (his whole career) without playing
in the playoffs. As for the current player, my Mother suggested
Dennis Maruk of the Capitals. When he gets back, I'll ask my
father (Ron Weber, announcer of the Caps, statistician extrordinaire)
and he'll find out.
