Oh what a surprise last night! I was pulling for N.Y., but never would have thought that there would only be 2 goals in the game, and that Edmonton would have none of them! Billy Smith played an awesome game in the nets, and Moog did a darn good job himself. The Oilers just couldn`t get a break. It just goes to show what I`ve been hearing from my brother-in-law the last 2 weeks was true - "Watch the N.Y. defense". I was surprised at the number of penalties that were called. There must have been over a dozen. Was it just bad playing, or was Van Hellemond calling it close to keep the game from getting out of hand? Looking forward to game 2 Thursday night.
