I heard a teaser on CNN Sports last night that Billy Smith of the New York
Islanders may be brought up on charges in connection with a slashing
incident. Unfortunately it was late, and I couldn't stay up to hear the full
report. Can anyone supply the details?

Smith hit Frazier with the top of his stick and later claimed that he was justified in doing so since he had to clear the crease.
