of 32 league games. The top 4 teams all receive home ice for a two-game total
goals series against the next 4 teams. #8 is at #1, #7 at #2, and so forth.
The winners of each series will advance to the CCHA Semi-Finals at Joe Louis
Arena in Detroit, also known as Munn Arena East. The top remaining seed hosts
the lowest seed and the second highest seed acts as home team against the
third highest seed. Quarter finals take place March 1 and 2. The Finals for
the conference at JLA occur March 8 and 9. The winner of the tournament will
receive an automatic home ice bid into the NCAA Quarterfinals. One other
CCHA team will also receive an at-large bid and play at an Eastern school.
