In reference to Mike Ryan's scheduling idea - when you say "play
each other 3 times" I don't know how well that would work out. To
play home and home you would have to play everyone 4 times. It
would be a big deal in the WCHA to fly out to say Denver to play
1 game,or for Colorado College to fly to Northern Michigan for one game.
It would be nice to play everyone in the Division I, but I guess a
little semi-controversy is good for the sport too.

I sure wish I could watch a few games, but Chicagoland just doesn't
go for college hockey I guess.

Interesting phenomenon: On Saturday night a LOSING team scored the
last goal in an overtime game. That doesn't happen too often I bet.

I haven't seen the results from the weekend yet, but I hope the Badgers
won. I think their only shot at the NCAA's is to win the playoffs.

I still think Bowling Green got ripped off two years ago.

High School Hockey: It's interesting to note that in Wisconsin
a team with a record of lower than .500 is often (almost always)
rated in the top ten in the state. That team is Superior (way up
north) and it's because they play a schedule of Minnesota teams.
Superior does VERY well against other Wisconsin teams.

Keep on Puckin',
