[net.sport.hockey] What's the problem?

I think that some people on the network are getting frustrated
with the Edmonton Oilers. If they have such a good offense, let them
use it! Then if Chicago gets mad, (re: Eddy's article), well let them
get mad! I am sure that their madness won't hurt the Oilers' offense
too much anyway.
I have played a lot of hockey myself and let me tell you that
even if a team is winning by a "good" margin, a player does not shoot
intentionally beside the net in order to keep the relations good between
the two teams. Hey, this is the Stanley Cup's semifinals, not the
pre-season warmup, or a game to raise funds for a Bowling Club!
This is supposed to be a war; you want to win, no matter if you have to
destroy the opponent. Note that the word "destroy" means "with offense"
for the Oilers, as opposed to "fights" with the old Dave Shutz's Flyers.
I like good teams and if the Oilers can beat Chicago so easily,
11-2, that simply means that they are too good for the Black Hawks. It
should be seen as a lesson, and thus constructive, and not destructive
as some people may think.

P.S. My favorite team is not the Oilers, but I am able to evaluate
the power of their offense without beeing offended.
