Regarding expansion to Seattle-Tacoma, in the early 70's Seattle almost got a team. The thing that stopped it (well, one of the things) was that Vancouver would force Seattle to pay them for their territorial rights. Anyone with a knowledge of geography would realize how stupid this was, it would be like Chicago enforcing their territorial rights on Michigan's upper peninsula. Anyway, Vancouver has now seen the error of their ways and agreed not to enforce their rights. Vancouver doesn't have any close regional rivals, and a team in the Pacific Northwest would help (besides cutting their travel expenses). Tacoma is the much better choice than Seattle for the team. Seattle has turned yuppie, and would not support a team that was not a winner. Tacoma, on the other hand, has the new Tacoma Dome (argueably the most beautiful stadium in the world), and the only tenants being indoor soccer. Tacoma is also trying to get the Penguins to move there. - Ken Finney - P.S. About last nights game FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR!FUHR! 'Nuff Said!
