[net.sport.hockey] One step closer to a dynasty

Pardon me for being obnoxious...

Well, I think the Oilers proved beyond any doubt that they are the #1 team
in the NHL right now, and they have all the markings for becoming a dynasty
over the next several years. If any team has a chance of winning 5 Cups in
a row in this expanded league, I think the Oilers are it. No other team can
come close to matching the likes of Gretzky, Coffey, and Fuhr (on one team
yet!!), and those players have at least 4 to 5 years of good playing before
they go the way of the Islanders. Class or no class, the Oilers have shown
everyone how talented a team they really are, and they are on the brink of
being remembered as being the greatest team that has ever played in the NHL.
As for you "Flyers over the Oilers in 5" (:-)) fans, well, better luck next
year and I hope you provided the Flyers with some sort of a welcoming home
party, because it was almost raining in Edmonton last night (and it wasn't
coming from the clouds in the sky). I guess the Oiler egos will remain
intact for at least another year.

P.S. Send flames - they should not be difficult to extinguish with all
the champagne and partying going on in the city right now!

P.P.S. BRING ON THE RUSSIANS!!!
