Does anyone have anything to report on the Badger loss to RPI last Friday night? Do people in Madison think the Badgers have a chance to repeat this year? The USA Today paper does, but also says that this year because of the Olympics, the whole thing is wide open. I myself, an avid Badger fan, believe this is the year the CCHA has a good chance to vie for the NCAA title. It seems that they were not hit as hard by the Olympics. Of course, Minnesota looks strong again. One last question: is Lexi Doner playing at all yet?

Well, I'm not sure of the WCHA standings now, but I read that Denver finally split with someone (N. Michigan?) and Wisconsin, Minnesota, UMD, and North Dakota all swept, so the WCHA race is heating up. THE series of the year is coming up for me. The Badgers of Wisconsin were swept in Minnesota in December, the first game amid a bit of controversy on the Gopher winning goal in overtime. Now the Badgers must sweep the Gophs to get some respect back. I only wish I could be there. At least in spirit I'll be there. BLANK 'EM BUCKY Jon Hanrath ihnp4!ltuxa!jmh
