[net.sport.hockey] Is Harry OK?

I'm beginning to think that Harry Sinden has lost his sense of judgement.
This latest move of his, Reed Larsen for Mike O'Connell, makes no sense at
all (at least to me). Sure Larsen is a more potent scorer for a defenseman,
but the Bruins are going to sorely miss O'Connell's contributions on defense.

I'm not a Bruins fan (never have been), but there have been individual players
on the team that I have respected, and O'Connell was one of them. I think
that I'd have to file this one under the "quick fix" category of trades.

Are you kidding? My first reaction was that the Red Wings had
stopped pretending to try to build a winner. O'Connell just
doesn't have it any more - he has played poorly all season. I
can't count the times I've seen him give up the puck in his own
zone to the chagrin of Riggin or Keans. Just imagine Bourque and
Larson together on the power play - on second thought, there's
no need to imagine it - I saw it last night against the
Penguins. Although Larson didn't score, the added threat from
the point contributed to a few Bruins goals. Also, Dwight Foster
(for whom the Bruins essentially gave up nothing) performed
	well, particularly on penalty killing.
