Yes, Virginia (I forget your name), there is a very good Unix clone called QUNIX avaiable for the IBM PC from an outfit in Canada (I forget their name too, but can dig it up upon request). A finicky member of my Dept has used it for months and sez it is very complete and stable (bug-free). I don't think he's used any off IBM's software since he got QUNIX. For other machines, there are two systems named FLEX and OS-9. The latter is for Motorola 6809-based systems; the first includes 6800 also,I believe. The only 6809 PC I know of is the Radio Shack Color Computer, actually a very nice box for the money. Some versions of FLEX and/or OS-9 are sold specifically for it. Don't laugh till you've checked out the peripherals in the Shack's latest computers-only catalog. mike k
