[net.micro.pc] corruption

I am running DOS 1.1 with the BASIC COMPILER.  Intrepretive
(BASICA) programs that run OK produce an occasional "STRING
SPACE CORRUPT" blow-off when compiled and ran.  Has anyone
else seen this problem?
