I implemented an interrupt-driven rs232 driver for the PC async. card some
months ago, and while I don't remember details of the problems I had, I made
notes in my tech. ref. manual to the affect that the magic bit in the modem
control register should be SET, not cleared, to enable interrupts.  This is
contrary to what is given on pg 2-126 of the manual, but the schematic on
pg D-48 shows that this is likely.
