From: "Jonathan H. Goodman" <Goodman@YALE.ARPA> Yale Computer Center wrote and distributes a package called "YTERM" which runs under DOS and makes the IBM PC into a "smart terminal" and "distributed work station" in an ASCII asynchronous communications environment. YTERM provides: 1. Terminal emulation from 300 to 900 baud with support for odd, even, mark and space parity, full/half duplex. Emulation of most VT100 and all Datamedia 1520/21 terminal functions. 2. Full support and capatibility with the Yale ASCII IUP Package, including 3270 highlighting. 3. Error correcting file transfer to VM/CMS. A protocol document available should allow file transfer with any host. 4. Completely user-definable keyboard. 5. Support for the PC printer for screen print and yoked printing. YTERM is available for cost of distribution, and institutional licenses are available. Inquiries for more information should be sent to: Yale University Computer Center 175 Whitney Avenue Box 2112 New Haven, CT 06520 Attn: Software Distribution Telephone inquiries should be directed to Carol Drucker at (203) 432-4080.
