I seem to recall there being a standard problem with early PC's having to do with the colour burst. 4 months ago, my PC was capable of putting a reasonable low-res coloured picture out through an RF modulator. I normally use a B/W monitor, but I checked out the colour again recently and found it missing, so I wonder if I've fallen victim to the aforementioned problem. Coloured text appears on my B/W monitor (and on my TV) as text painted with an underlying pattern; i.e. certain columns are not on, depending on the colour. By altering the colour adjust on the mother board, I can get violet tinging to the text and graphics on the TV, but no true colours. Thanks in advance for any tips on this problem. peter rowley, U.
