From: Martin Schoffstall <schoff at BBN-UNIX> I saw some BDS copy that said that their C compiler for the PC now addresses 1M and has floating point support. Does anyone have this compiler, does it support 1M of text and data? Or does it limit data to 64K or any data object or structure to 64K? I saw the RED listing in Dr Dobbs. Does anyone want to type it in and try to port it to the PC using either the Lattice or BDS compiler? schoff at bbnu

I'm working on typing in the RED editor from DDJ (actually, I haven't seen the August issue yet and am basically working from the original ED article from last year). I'm bringing it up on Unix as a way of checking my typing, after which I'll port it to the PC using a locally-written descendent of Small-C. I will try to remember to post the final, working version to net.sources at some point. --Bernie Roehl
