I asked the Toronto Computerland about the colour bug, and they even said
they phoned IBM about it, but they were of no help. So I checked the new
tech. ref. manual at the IBM Product Centre.
The circuit containing the crystal has changed. Here are schematic
fragments, from the Aug 81 tech. ref. man. and the latest, 1983 ed.:
