[net.micro.pc] "PC to Z80 C compiler"

hersee@ihuxx.UUCP (07/14/83)

I have seen a Lattice C compiler that runs on MS-DOS (PC-DOS)
that outputs Microsoft .rel files. Lattice developed it for
their own use and are wondering how or weather to sell it.
also how much to charge for it if they did sell it.

I have used the Baby Blue card and it works VERY well. I
have used it on DOS 1.1 and 2.0. Using it your CP/M
programs run faster and have more TPA that any other system
that I know of.

Funny story but true: When I first got my PC within 24 hrs
the disk controller failed. I had the basic system from
Computerland and the Baby Blue from mail order. I sent my
wife to the store to get the thing fixed with a note that
said that the disk controller was broken. (No problem right?)
Well the story went like this: The sales girl ( yes I mean girl)
said that the problem was the Baby Blue card since it was not
from them. After much trouble my wife got them to replace the
disk controller and the machine was OK. As my wife left the
store she said to these silly people that the Baby Blue was
not baby blue at all but is was turquoise. Both parties
left the store feeling superior to the other.
