From: Stan.Hanks <stan.rice@Rand-Relay> I have been using the Maynard Electronics controller with a pair of Qume DT8 drives for about 7 months now. After initial configuration problems (and a bad board) were solved, I haven't had any trouble at all. The engineering staff at Maynard is very helpful and is usually very concerned when you call with a problem; apparently they don't see too many of them and worry a bit when they do pop up. There is no software support from Maynard, so you either have to roll your own, or use the stuff from Tall Tree. I have been using the Tall Tree stuff, and working on writing code to read/write standard CP/M format disks invisibly. The Maynard controller and Tall Tree software also make it possible to use 96 tpi 5.25 inch drives also. I have been using one of these also with great success.
