Does anyone know about the availability of disk emulator programs for the pc. I have 256K; and I would like mince to be able to take advantage of it. I have been told that the only way to accomplish this is to have mince use ram for its swap file. Since my memory is all-ibm, I dont't have access to, say, quadram's simulator. Is there a disk emulator available either in public domain or from a vendor? Arny Rosenberg (alr at duke)

From: Dick Gillmann <GILLMANN@USC-ISIB> The only free disk emulator I know of is the VDSK.ASM program printed in the DOS 2.0 manual. A copy of it has been typed in and can be copied from the Info-IBMPC library. However, it's rather limited. The best commercial one seems to be the JRAM software from Tall Tree. It's very flexible and easy to use.
