Foreshadowing Dept.: Ziff-Davis, publisher of Stereo Review and (what WAS called) Popular Electronics and, recently, PC, PC Tech Journal, and PC Disk, has just announced "PC Home Computing" for users of "PC's, PC compatibles, and IBM home computers" in the home. I don't know when the first issue is scheduled to come out, but I'd guess that it'll be the new year. The magazine will cover only those applications targetted at the home (you know-- budgets, writing letters, saving recipes). Rumours, updated, Dept.: The Peanut-is-coming rumours had IBM announcing it AND a new display card for the PC this week. Nothing yet, according to the local Product Centre. p. rowley, U. Toronto
