The other day on WNEW-AM radio in New York, they were playing rarities & I heard them play part of Tony Randall (as Felix Unger) & Jack Klugman (as Oscar Madison) singing the Carly Simon hit "You're So Vain". I was histeri- cal laughing. I was wondering if anyone out there had heard of this record, or knows anything about it (e.g. where, when & why it was recorded). I thought I'd seen all the Odd Couple Episodes. I don't remember that sonng being in any of them. Can anybody out there help me on this one ?? Shawn P. (this probably should have just been mailed rather than posted, but unhappily, some system-type person was trying to "fix" rn to make mailing easier, and instead I get debug code show that the value of some variable is 7 (about four or five times) and then it fails. Since posting works, I posted. Bummer) FOR _YEARS_ I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT SONG!!! Its great! It was definately NOT from the Odd Couple series. I used to hear it on a juke box in a pizzaria (which has since gone defunct) sometime in the early 70's. The flip side is a strange song about life on a farm. You are the FIRST person I've ever heard of who knows about that record. If you find out where to get it, LET ME KNOW!!! Though I'm in Rhode Island now, I'm from Jersey, so information from the NY area is useful to me... Rich Yampell path: wherever the header says.
